The Vedik Cow, known for its impressive average milk yield of 1590 kg per lactation and a record-breaking production of 3182 kg with 4.5% fat content in India, is a remarkable breed. Despite their massive and robust appearance, Vedik Cows are known for their gentle disposition, brimming with positive emotions and a loving nature. These remarkable traits are also reflected in the milk they produce, believed to transfer their inherent goodness to those who consume it.
Ghee, with its significantly higher nutritive value compared to oil, stands out. Sadly, the creams used in ghee production often contain harmful chemicals and preservatives. This is primarily due to the lack of control ghee manufacturers have over the milk supplied by various vendors, who employ chemicals and adulteration to prevent spoilage. This poses a severe risk to our health, with potential life-threatening consequences.
At The Vedik Cow, we craft our farm-fresh Vedic Bilona Ghee using traditional ‘Vedic methods’ at our own farms, open for anyone to visit. We extend a warm invitation to experience the authentic process of milking and milk product creation, featuring state-of-the-art mechanisms and processes specially designed for traditional and organic dairy farming. Our aim is to offer you the quality of milk as nature intended it to be.
Our journey began just a few years ago, driven by our commitment to provide genuine products from Desi Vedik Cows and support the traditional Gwalas who have lovingly cared for these cows for generations. In a short span, we have earned recognition as one of Mumbai’s premier providers of farm-fresh A2 Milk and Vedic A2 Ghee.
